All India Handicrafts Week is celebrated
from 8th to 14th December every year throughout India. It is celebrated with
great enthusiasm to increase the awareness, cooperation and its importance in
the society about handicrafts among the people of all the states of our
country. This whole week’s ceremony is a special time for all the craftsmen as
they get a wonderful opportunity to highlight their great works, all over the
world and helps in keeping the tradition and culture of years of handicrafts
alive.
