International Hospitality Day


 

International Hospitality Day is celebrated annually on April 24th. It's a day dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the hospitality industry and its contributions to society. The day is jointly initiated and organized by the International Hospitality Council (IHC) and the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM). 

·        Purpose:

The day aims to honour the individuals who make the hospitality industry thrive, acknowledge their hard work, and celebrate the spirit of hospitality. 

·        Key Focus:

IIHM and IHC often highlight the impact of hospitality on people's lives and its role in fostering positive experiences. 

·        Initiation:

International Hospitality Day was first established on April 24th, 2016. 

·        Events:

Celebrations often include global conferences, awards ceremonies, and events that recognize outstanding individuals and institutions in the hospitality field. 

·        Global Reach:

The day is celebrated worldwide, with IIHM and IHC coordinating events in various locations, including India and London.
