Ada Lovelace Day 2025

Ada Lovelace Day is an international celebration on the second Tuesday of October that honours the achievements of women in STEM. In 2025, it is being celebrated on 14th October. Named after Ada Lovelace, a mathematician often considered the first computer programmer for her work on Charles Babbage's Analytical Engine, the day aims to increase the profile of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields. The event was founded in 2009 to create role models and encourage more girls and women to pursue STEM careers.
